Reflection
Standard V sets teachers as the true facilitators of learning. It is the teacher's responsibility to be leaders and effective communicators of the different resources available to learners. I believe this standard includes participating in professional development and being dedicated to life-long learning. Teachers must have the knowledge of their subject area, emerging technology, and how to effectively integrate the two. The artifacts that support this standard are my lesson plan, course site, and Scoop.it page. My lesson plan demonstrates a vision of technology infusion while building community and developing the technology skills of others. My course site is the result of researching different tools, deciding what would be the best, and communicating it to others. Scoop.it is a resource that allows teachers to gather information and resources and share with students and the community, which contributes to other teachers and learners.

Future Learning Goal
My future learning goal in relation to this standard is to stay connected to the online learning and educational technology community. I will need to stay connected and then use every opportunity to share my knowledge with others. So many people can benefit from what we learn that it is our responsibility as teachers to share the knowledge and contribute to local and global learning.
